Meet the Founder
I’m Afoma, a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and I am honored to support clients during the most important parts of their recovery journey. I have been a nurse for over 5 years, with the majority of my experience rooted in acute care and surgery.
Throughout my nursing career, I’ve developed a strong passion for surgical patient care, particularly within the plastic surgery space. I created the Aftercare Effect to provide compassionate, professional recovery care that helps clients heal safely and comfortably in a supportive environment.
My goal is to combine clinical expertise with genuine care so every client feels supported, confident, and truly cared for throughout their recovery journey.
